Remote Access to the University Network

Many of the University's secure web based applications such as ACCTS, PETS, AURA, Web Intelligence, and the LBC Share drive are fully accessible outside of the University network through a Virtual Private Network or VPN. Go to IT Serivces's VPN support page for details about setting up a VPN. Other network dependent applications like the FAS mainframe (via Hummingbird HostExplorer) can also work over a VPN, provided that the programs are properly installed on the remote computer.

A specific workstation may also be remotely accessed if needed. See IT Services's Business Applications - Accessing Remotely page for more details about remote access.
