About Alyse
Alyse Dewey began her career in research administration at the University of Chicago in 2021 as a Grants and Contracts Analyst, was promoted to Administrator in 2022, and to Senior Administrator in 2024. She finds it rewarding to handle the complexities of grants management so that faculty can focus on their research, and she especially enjoys training and mentoring junior staff. Alyse earned her Master of Arts in Public Policy from the Harris School of Public Policy and her Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Illinois Chicago. Before working in research administration, she taught English in Lima, Peru for three years and worked as an au pair in Seville, Spain for one year. In her free time, she enjoys salsa dancing and trail running with her dog.
