About Andrew
I started working in grants administration at NORC where I set up grants in the financial system. I then moved to the Spanish Coalition for Housing where I was a grants development officer writing proposals. After that I moved to Cook County Government budget office handling the two largest county departments operating budgets and helped sustain more than 300 million dollars in grants. I then moved to university research administration at Saint Louis University in their department of Pharmacology and Physiology for a short stint before moving back to Chicago to have our daughter. I then moved onto Northwestern University in the department of Nephrology which turned into me being a stay-at-home dad. After 7 months of being a stay-at-home dad I moved onto Nemours Children’s Health and after a year and a half moved to the University of Chicago in my current position.
