With over 20 years of experience in research administration, previous positions include Contract and Grant Administrator at the University of North Carolina (Chapel Hill, NC), Sponsored Cash Accounting Manager at the University of South Florida (Tampa, FL), and Senior Accountant at the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research (Boulder, CO). Born in Des Moines, IA and raised in the South, Carolyn and family moved to the Denver Metro area in 2021 to enjoy the great outdoors.
She began her career working in a campus department managing faculty portfolios and through close collaboration, working in roles for central offices which provided a varied perspective. Carolyn has a diverse background specializing in end-to-end grant management with a focus on financial accounting, reporting, and process development.
When not working, she enjoys road trips, hiking with her dog, all things relating to art, music, and movies and traveling with family.
