About Lilith

My career as a university administrator started in 2008 as a student messenger in the PSD-LBC during the summer between my third and fourth years at the College (AB ’09). In the years that followed, I would do everything in the LBC from submitting reimbursements and requisitions to preparing complex grant proposals and managing multi-project awards. I bring 17+ years in university administration and 12+ years in research administration to my work as Associate Director of Grants and Contracts in the Physical Sciences Division.

I love puzzles and challenges. The things I like most about research administration are:

· It provides never-ending opportunities to learn and grow,

· I get to provide practical support for research that deepens and expands our understanding of the world, and

· Every day, I get to work with brilliant, dedicated faculty, postdocs, students, and administrators.

My academic background is in Philosophy of Religion, with a special focus on ethical questions. My favorite philosophers are Kierkegaard, Nietzsche, and Kant. When I’m not pondering moral quandaries, I’m usually playing guitar, listening to music, reading manga, or participating in Quaker religious community.

Crescat sapientia, scientia excolatur.
