About Jason:
Jason A Banks, MA. Began work at the University in 2004 as a Grants and Contracts Administrator (then known as a Faculty Service Representative) in the PSD Local Business Center. I have broad experience with pre and post award administration for both federal and non-federal agencies including large/complex center grants. Over time, I have managed accounts for Astronomy/Astrophysics, Center for Advanced Radiation Sources, Enrico Fermi Institute, Geophysical Sciences, Institute for Mathematical and Statistical Innovation (IMSI), Mathematics, Statistics, Synchrotron Earth and Environmental Science (SEES). Since June 2024, troubleshooting complications with the Oracle transition has been another part of my efforts.
Other interests/experiences: Byzantine History, professional writing instruction, tallgrass prairie restoration and native plant gardening, been known to make an appearance as Spider-Man on occasion.
