About Mariel
Mariel holds an MA in Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Chicago and has been with the Chemistry Business Center since 2022. She entered the non-profit sector after graduating in 2017, managing nationwide disaster relief grants for libraries at the American Library Association in Chicago. Originally from Oklahoma City, she enjoys traveling, hiking, swimming, reading literary fiction, walking around Hyde Park, and planning dinner parties.
