About Mike
Mike graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a Bachelors in Finance and a Minor in Managerial Skills, with a background was in mortgage unwriting. He started off at JP Morgan Chase as a Mortgage Underwriter I; after a few years promoted to Mortgage Underwriter II. After 5 years at Chase, he went to Wells Fargo as a Mortgage Underwriter III, for about four years. Mortgage rates got increasingly high in 2024, and Wells decided to get out mortgage business entirely. This is where he decided to focus on my analytical and administration skills. Mike started with this university as an Accounts Payable Accounting Associate serving as one of the leaders of cost corrections, supporting the university as a whole, and has now translated that to a role as a Grants and Contracts analyst in PSD.
