About Rachel
Rachel holds a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality & Tourism Management, complemented by a minor in Marketing Communication, and an MBA with a concentration in Accounting from Purdue University. She further enhanced her academic credentials by earning a certificate in Business Analytics from DePaul University. Additionally, Rachel participated in the University of Chicago’s prestigious Executive Program for Emerging Leaders (EPEL) as part of its 13th cohort.
Rachel is currently the Grants and Contracts Manager for Chemistry, where she is responsible for managing research funding, ensuring compliance, and overseeing financial reporting. She is committed to fostering a collaborative and supportive environment and finds great satisfaction in assisting faculty members to advance their research initiatives. Prior to her current role, Rachel developed a broad skill set as a Restaurant Manager at Cooper’s Hawk Restaurant & Winery. She also established a solid background in higher education through her previous positions at Indiana University Northwest and Purdue University Northwest.
